De Ann Townes Jr. “Native American Girl” as she is known in the world of Poetry. Her Poetry has been widely anthologized by The League of American Poets, 2005 Expressions II red book edition. Village Unplugged

This week we are preparing for another Village Unplugged Open Mic and Worship Service. But this isn’t your mothers or even grandmothers worship service. We come together in full faith and truth and share with us what God is doing in our lives and on our hearts. Please come out to share your gifts of poetry, voice, music, dance, and whatever else.

The Village Unplugged was inspired by two friends getting together, sharing their spirituality, and being in community. In the background, Lauryn Hill’s “Unplugged” Album was playing. This album deeply resonated with these two and after a period of prayer and discernment, The Village Unplugged was born. Come and be a part of this movement!
